Thomas Fedorka

Licensed Lay Minister

I was born and raised in Detroit, MI. I attended college for engineering and worked in various industries over 37 years. I met my wife in college and married her right after graduation. We have four beautiful children. We’ve lived in MI, IN, OH, KY, and now MA. We have been active church members everywhere we have lived. Our faith has kept us strong through many difficult times as well as many blessed times.

I’ve been active on church councils, various church committees, Worship Assistant, Lay Preaching Team, as well as teaching Sunday School.

My work required a lot of travel that allowed me to see many different countries and meet many different people. All of this has formed my faith life to some extent. Meeting people of different cultures and faiths, some of no organized religion, some in great poverty. I began to see all these people as part of God’s family. I have learned something from each of them and have strengthened my faith through all of them.

I graduated from the School for Lay Ministry in June 2022. Bishop Hazelwood invited me to become a Licensed Lay Minister in August 2022 and I began serving GLC in September 2022.

Gary MacDonald

Music Director

Gary comes to us from St. Patrick RC Church in Nashua and brings a wealth of experience and training to Gethsemane.  For most of his career, he has played for liturgical churches.  Gary studied at Westminster Choir College for a year and then received his BS in BA from Suffolk University.  He assisted in rebuilding tracker organs for a period of about 20 years and was active in the NH Chapter of American Guild of Organists, having held most of the elected offices.  Gary is the former accompanist for the New Greeley Singers in Pelham NH and the Spindle City Singers in Lowell.   Many years ago, he was organist/director at the newly formed Peace Lutheran Church in Wayland MA where he presided over a Baldwin Spinet organ.  He is looking forward to making beautiful music for the Glory of God at Gethsemane.
