Worship Style
Our traditional liturgical worship service mostly follows the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) and Sundays and Seasons. The liturgy includes the four aspects of worship: Gathering, Hearing God’s Word, the Holy Eucharist, and being sent forth into the world to serve Christ and one another. Thoughtful sermons address the Scriptures as presented from our revised common lectionary. The Eucharist is offered and celebrated for all who wish to receive. Music is provided by our organist along with special offerings from our choir and our handbell choir, and, of course, the singing of hymns by the congregation.
We offer in-person worship in our sanctuary as well as live-streamed video of our services on our Worship Information page and recordings of our past services on YouTube. As there are changes to our worship, updates will appear here on our web site on the Sunday Service page. Before arriving at Church, be sure to visit our Worship information page for any weather or pandemic related updates and to make sure that you’ve read our health protocols for in-person worship. We look forward to having you join our service in-person or online!
*A note to parents: God put the wiggle in Children. We love having you and your little ones here and participating in our services. Know that you and your children will be welcomed and supported. We have books and toys and crafts available as needed.
