The people of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Manchester, NH kindly request the honor of your presence on August 6th for our next collaborative worship service.

We will begin with our service project at 9:30am in the Mary Martha Room downstairs. We will be filling quart size zip lock bags with bottled water, fruit cups, protein crackers (e.g. cheese or peanut butter), breakfast bars (granola or other), wet naps, meat/cheese sticks, and other small (single serve) shelf stable snack items. GLC distribute these to the Manchester unsheltered population.  If possible, please bring some of the items needed for the snack packs. Additionally, we also hand out travel sized hygiene products (soap, shampoo, toothbrush/paste, feminine hygiene products, etc) if you’d like to bring any of those items.

The worship service will begin at 10:00 am up in the sanctuary. It will be live streamed.  If you can't join us in person, please use the link below to watch it on our YouTube page. This will take you to the worship page on our website where you can access the bulletin and link to the streaming service.

After the service, we will have the BakeOff contest. The more entries the better, so everyone bake! There will be three categories: cupcakes, cookies, brownies/bars. Bakers are asked to share if their recipe includes any of the common food allergies: dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, gluten, soy, or fish. Each person will receive three tickets to use for voting on their favorite baked good(s).
