It is our goal to make sure that everyone at Gethsemane has the opportunity to get involved at whatever level is comfortable for you. That could be doing nothing or being here 5 days a week helping out!
Gethsemane offers groups centered around interests, study, fellowship, food, conversation grief, healing and service. More groups start up as a need or desire is seen.
- Weekly Bible Studies: There are different, ongoing weekly study opportunities at Gethsemane.
- Mary Martha Group: All women are invited and encouraged to join in the group. Mary Martha Group meets on the 2nd Monday of the month at 12:00 PM in where else? The Mary Martha Room! Bring your lunch, coffee and tea are provided as is dessert. The Holiday Fair is coming up sooner that we can imagine and the group will work on plans for this year’s Fair at the September meeting.
- Senior Choir: If you enjoy singing, the choir is the place to be. Rehearsals are a time of time of laughter, fun, fellowship and sharing our love of music. For more info, contact Director of Music , Diane Destrempe.
- Handbells: The handbell choir adds a “joyful noise” to our worship experience. All are welcome to join the handbell choir! No previous experience is necessary and you’ll learn the basics of handbell ringing while praising God with beautiful music.
